The Food
Specialising in French country cooking exclusively from the wild and rural Languedoc
region, which borders Catalonia on the sunny Med, La Garrigue offers
genuinely alternative food whilst keeping the Gallic stamp of quality. Traditional rustic
French dishes are enlivened by a modern touch. Many of the ingredients for the menu dishes
are unique to the Languedoc region and are sourced directly by Jean Michel.
The price for a two course lunch is £12.50, three courses
£15.50. For dinner; two courses are £25.
Not surprisingly the selection of wines offered are also from the Languedoc region
which means quality wines at very reasonable prices.
Aperitifs on offer include the world famous Absinthe along with a fine selection of Pastis
while digestifs include Vielle Prune and Poire William.
