Bonjour,
Hi, it is me again, I just realised that on my last journal I forget to send you the Beaujolais Nouveau menu....so here we are.
As you can see the” Beaujolais Nouveau”will be served as an Aperitif , just to mark the occasion kind of thing, before moving on to more serious wines the region has to offer. Following our Harpers Regional French wine list of the year award I need to be even more careful with my selection as I am already looking forward to my trip to London next year!!!
November is not my favourite month of the year; rain, wind, winter just round the corner, shorter days and...my birthday!! Having said that on the positive side of things the Rugby season is now in full swing and my favourites teams; Toulouse and Edinburgh are not doing to bad at all, lots of new players coming through the ranks and a very interesting 6 nations looming.
A few new changes in the menu this week with the arrival of partridges, an array of wonderful autumn berries and apple, and Loic our pastry chef's new desserts...next time you are in try the walnut cake and Hazelnut parfait.....after the duck and caramelised apple; classic, simple and yet so ...La Garrigue!
Sorry I have to leave you so soon, I am off to the HIT lunch at the Sheraton....memories..!!
I hope to see you on the 21st for the last of our Tour De France dinner in 2013, but you do not have to wait until then , any time you fell like some real comfort food , we are just a call away.
Oh, I almost forgot - I have a few ideas for Christmas presents featuring La Garrigue! All in Jean-Michel's Christmas Stocking.
A bientot,
J-Michel
