Bonjour,
I hope I am not annoying you again as I already contacted you this month but you really need to know; WE WON!!!!!!!
As you know La Garrigue was nominated for a prestigious wine award . So on Tuesday I flew to London and spent the day at the St Hermins hotel listening to wine experts, attending lectures, tasting too many good wines, generally relaxing until the big moment; the price giving ceremony.
On paper (not in the bottle) La Garrigue's wine list really looked like the odd one out against Le Manoir Aux Quat’Season and Hotel TerraVina, so when La Garrigue's name was called in to collect the award it really was a shock; to me anyway.

I am now the self Appointed Ambassador of the LANGUEDOC wines in the UK!! And the holder of “Harpers French regional wine list winner”.
It has been a very special week indeed as within 5 days we were nominated in the best 50 Restaurants in the UK for our service by Open Table, and received our 2 AA rosette Award plate, making it 12 in a row!
I want to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to all of our wine suppliers who have supported us through some difficult times over the years, to all the wine producers who came to La Garrigue to showcase their products, to our waiters and waitresses for their enthusiasm and pride in offering and suggesting our wines and to you for trusting us with our selection.
Of course we are not going to stop there and I am putting the final touches to our “Beaujolais Nouveau Dinner” this will be on the 21st of November . I have sourced a very special Domaine for the Beaujolais Nouveau itself who will be served as aperitif on the night , and this will be followed by a four course dinner with a good selection of Beaujolais Village to compliment the menu....
Details will follow shortly and I hope you will be able to join us.
Thank you once again for your continued support.
A bientot,
J-Michel
