First of all I really want to thank you for all your letters, e-mails and telephone calls of support following the publication of my last “journal”. The word” institution“ appeared a few times in your comments and made me feel proud and humble at the same time. Yes, La Garrigue is changing; it is moving on, getting stronger and better....and I am still the driver behind the wheels....
By my standards, this is going to be a short letter but I need to let you know about a couple of events you may wish to attend.
First, our Rugby themed weekend lunches on the 24th of February and the 9th of March. They are followed by the first of our “Gastronomique Tour De France”; an evening of Alsace food and wine with a special mystery guests.....at 7.30 on the 13th of March. Details of the dishes and wines are on the website. As always spaces are limited for these events so please do not leave it too late to book your table.
Last but not least, the winner of the “Dinner for 2 with House Wine” for February is Miss Amy Wood! Congratulations Amy and thank you for choosing La Garrigue for your dinner on Valentine’s... You will receive your confirmation e-mail soon.
By the way, if I read my tea leaves properly, France are going to beat England at Twickenham ......
A bientot,
J-Michel
